The company
My client is a highly successful and well recognizable organization. They have been dominant in Australia for several years and are now looking to expand overseas. They offer a wide range of unique products and services which can be tailored to individual customer needs, ensuring they are offer a first-class service and maintain their position as market leader. Due to an international promotion, the opportunity has arisen for a new Financial Controller to manage the Australian region and assist with the expansion strategy.
The role
As the Financial Controller you will be responsible for overseeing the entire Australian finance function. Further to this you will be expected to act as a business partner and liaise with the board of directors, giving a commercial insight to the local/international business strategy. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Management of month and year end reporting
- Business partnering with other departments and regions on a regular basis
- Annual budgets and forecasts
- Provide financial and strategic analysis reports
- Supporting both finance and non-finance areas of the business from an accounting perspective
- External stakeholder management
Your profile
This is a fast-paced company operating with upmost efficiency, the right person must be able to hit the ground running. This role is suited for a hardworking individual who is prepared to go the extra mile. In addition you must have:
- CPA / CA Qualification
- Strong leadership and communication skills
