We are hiring in our Sydney headquarter office an Assistant Financial Accountant.
This role involves assisting the monthly global financial reporting, billings and reconciliations for the APAC region. Providing support to the APAC region and executive team. The role reports to the Finance Director and is based in North Sydney.
Responsibilities
- Assist with month end procedures, including bank and other balance sheet reconciliations
- Assist with customer invoicing
- Prepare Concur reports for expense reconciliation
- Maintain finance information within Salesforce
- Prepare monthly tax filings including GST & BAS for Australia and New Zealand.
- Assist with preparation of the monthly financial reporting.
- Prepare revenue and expense reports for the business
- Various ad-hoc financial accounting tasks
Required Skill & Experience & Qualification
- Minimum of 2 years’ post graduate experience as an assistant accountant from a commercial or audit background
- University Degree Qualification in Accounting
- Professionally qualified (CA/CPA) accountant with Australian or equivalent certification or in the process of completing
- Applying Expertise – demonstrates finance related skills and knowledge to deliver results
