Reporting to the Office Supervisor the role of the accounts administrator is to manage the day to day finances of the company. This includes, but is not limited to the following responsibilities as noted below. By providing financial support to the respective Engineering, Sales, Operations, Managers and the Managing Director, this will ensure accountability and financial controls are in place for the correct financial governance of the company

Essential Functions and Duties:        

  1. To provide accurate financial reporting for the business
  2. Manage daily accounts payables, accounts receivables and day to day cash flow
  3. Manage payroll administration including all aspects of payroll (superannuation and payroll tax)
  4. Conduct receivable follow ups with customers
  5. Provide monthly financial reporting to the Managing Director
  6. Control Foreign Exchange transactions and pay overseas suppliers
  7. Generate customer invoices and provide necessary accompanying documentation with invoices  
  8. Generate purchase orders on company suppliers and notify Logistics Supervisor for delivery follow up
  9. General office duties

Experience:

A minimum of two – five years’ experience in a financial control and ideally in an industrial environment

Good working knowledge of MS Excel and MS Word. MS PowerPoint is useful but not essential.

The company uses MYOB accounting software 2018.2 including payroll, a good working knowledge of MYOB is an essential requirement
