The Company
Our client is a well-respected Government organisation who are known for employing only the best of the best candidates to work within their teams. They are known across the NSW for delivering exceptional service to both internal and external stakeholders. They are urgently requiring an Operations Team Leader to come on board to supervise a team of 10 direct reports. This is a contract role to start ASAP until the end of October, with possibilities of extension!
The Job
- Lead and manage the day to day activities of the Operational Support team which provides administrative, finance and operations support
- Coach and mentor a team of 10 staff
- Develop, implement, monitor and evaluate systems and procedures to improve daily operations
- Prepare and coordinate reports on the performance and progress of the Operations Support team
- Maintain up to date knowledge of systems, practices, trends and approaches
- Draft and respond to executive correspondence to senior management
You
- Experience in leading and managing a team to deliver high quality administrative, finance and operational support
- Previous experience working within the Government space is advantageous
- Experience in designing and developing programs to meet the identified needs within tight timeframes
