Lipa Pharmaceuticals is a thriving, innovative and market leading contract manufacturer of complementary health care products based at Minto (close to Campbelltown) in South West Sydney.
Due to our continued success, we are currently seeking an experienced Payroll / Finance Officer. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be assisting in all aspects of the payroll function for over 700 employees.
The successful candidate will have experience with process improvements, payroll integration and processing payrolls across multiple sites over a number of states within Australia.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting in the processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly pay runs
- Understanding and interpreting relevant legislation and awards, ensuring compliance with all relevant employee legislative requirements and update departments information as required to reflect changes in legislation
- Exposure to industrial relations and award/agreement/legislation interpretation
- Processing relevant terminations, leave, taxation and superannuation payments
- Assisting in all payroll reporting including annual leave, sick leave and hours
- Assist in the preparation of year-end procedures including PAYG summaries
- Assisting with other finance activities in accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Providing assistance and other clerical activities within payroll and finance
For success in this role, you will possess:
- Minimum of 2 - 3 years' payroll and clerical accounting experience (handling a large number of employees)
- Previous payroll integration experience is desirable
- Ability to co-ordinate multiple tasks and prioritise to meet deadlines
- Experience using Rockfast is highly desirable
- First class communication and ability to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
- Up to date knowledge of national employment regulations/changes and industry factors
