Your Business
A temporary Financial Accountant is sought by a global ASX business for up to 12  months.  A great opportunity to gain some industry experience in a leading organisation with a team that is high performing, very driven and passionate about providing the best level of service to their customers. 
  
 Your Role
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your primary responsibilities involves preparing year-end financial reports and consolidating across numerous entities within the Group. 

• Year-end financial accounting and statement preparation
• Monthly consolidations on a national and international basis
• Preparation of the monthly pack for presentation to the board
• Provide value added commentary of the financial performance of the business on reports
• Liaison with financial managers across various business units to ensure accuracy of information
• Continuous improvement of procedures and processes to improve efficiency
• Key point of contact with auditor

  
  
Profile 

• Immediate start required
• Minimum of 3 years post accounting qualification 
• Team player who works beyond the job description
• Demonstrable strong communication skills
• Working holiday visas encouraged to apply  

As this is a temporary contract you must be immediately available or have a maximum notice period of 1 week. Candidates in a permanent role with a 4 week notice period will not be considered.
