The Organisation
Our client in one of Australia’s market leaders in a rapidly growing industry. Due to recent growth, the need has arisen for an additional Payroll Officer to support the payroll team. Working within a supportive team, this role will be suited for those that are able to hit the ground running and are looking for their next challenge.
  
Position Description 
Reporting directly into the Payroll Manager, you will take complete ownership over the fortnightly payroll of approximately 4000 staff:

• End to End Payroll processing for 4000 staff
• PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
• Preparation of monthly payroll journals for posting into the General Ledger
• Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
• Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
• Proving accurate information in response to employee queries

Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer role along with the following attributes:

• Chris21 experience desired (though not essential)
• Ability to work as part of a team as well as autonomously
• Excellent time management skills
• Knowledge of superannuation, payroll tax and statutory requirements
• Strong attention to detail
• Impeccable communication both written and verbal
