With continuous product innovation and exploration of new markets, the future is exciting for BBD. As part of a clearly enunciated growth agenda and due to an internal opportunity, the need has arisen for an experienced Finance Manager to join the team in Bundaberg and provide leadership and a range of services that meets the operational needs of the business as well as supports the overall direction of the company.
  
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will use your finely honed financial acumen to lead the delivery of large scale Business Improvement projects as well as:  

• Leadership and development of the finance team, delivering outstanding commercial financial control, compliance, planning and reporting
• Overseeing month end reporting for all entities
• Preparation of budgets and forecasts for Australian and international entities
• Supporting the annual business planning and budgeting cycle with strong commercial vision
• Management of the treasury function, including foreign exchange
• Overseeing EOFY audit, tax and statutory compliance reviews across the Australian and international entities
• Reviewing current practices – improving and developing robust financial systems and processe

  
Ideally, you will:
  

• Be a technically strong, commercially aware and highly motivated accountant, able to support the business during the next stage of growth
• Be educated to degree level, ideally holding an accounting qualification (CPA/CA)
• Bring a hands-on, engaging and collaborative management style
• Be experienced in a fast paced, dynamic environment (manufacturing / FMCG industry is preferred)
• Have the ability to create opportunities for future initiatives
• Have strong communication skills, with the confidence to present results at a senior level to non-financial colleagues
• Strong track record of success in developing, motivating and leading teams
