Financial Accountant | Global brand | $70-80,000 + Super

Our client is a large, market leader within the FMCG sector and due to an internal promotion the position of financial accountant has become available. This business is experiencing steady growth year on year and stay competitive through an innovative portfolio of products. The role will also give you exposure to some traditional management accounting responsibilities to assist with broadening your skills. Working closely with the Finance Manager the main responsibilities will include:

• Preparing daily bank reconciliations
• Preparing accurate GL reconciliations
• Preparing P&L and balance sheets
• Processing monthly accruals and pre-payments
• Processing payroll journals, lodging payroll tax and workers comp
• Maintain fixed asset registers
• Cash-flow reporting
• Hands on preparation of FBT, BAS and Company Tax submissions
• Assisting in the preparation of the annual reporting 
• Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process

You will be working towards or completed your CA or CPA qualification and have worked in a similar position previously either as an experienced Assistant Accountant or Financial Accountant. Strong excel and exposure to a large ERP system will be critical to your ability to hit the ground running.
