The Company
Our client is a well known freight company based in the Northern suburbs who pride themselves on their company ethos of putting customers, staff and stakeholders first.
The Position
This position is for a short term contract of up to 6 weeks. It will be for 3-4 days per week. This role is perfect for someone looking for part time work.
You will be responsible for all the daily financial issues and any administration issues that may require attention. You will also be required to liaise with other offices to ensure that all revenue and expenditure is captured correctly
- Ensure bank reconciliations are completed and balanced
- Ensure all general ledger accounts balance and are reconciled monthly.
- Support and assist all accounting staff to ensure their daily tasks are complete.
- Support the Credit Manager with the collection of debtors.
- Initiate positive and effective communications with subordinates, peers, management and customers.
The Candidate
- Own transport is required, free parking available
- Experience in Accounts or Administration environment.
- Knowledge of the transport or logistics industry desirable.
