INTERMEDIATE ACCOUNTANT - FULL-TIME POSITION
Our client is a well-respected accounting firm conveniently located 10 mins from the CBD. They provide a holistic approach to accounting and business services, with specialist advisors in wealth creation, superannuation, bookkeeping and taxation, amongst others.
They are actively seeking someone to join their Business Services division as an Intermediate Accountant, who can display initiative, technical expertise and a personable manner, and they will be rewarded with opportunities in a company culture which supports growth.
The Role
You will be primarily responsible for:
- Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and all other compliance requirements for a diverse set of SME clients
- BAS/IAS/GST/FBT preparation and lodgements
- Assisting with tax planning for clients
- Building and maintaining positive relationships with clients
Ideal Candidate
- Accounting degree qualification
- Commencement of CA/CPA studies an advantage although not essential
- At least 1.5 years' accouting experience in a public practice environment
- The ability to work autonomously while being part of a team and displaying high attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and excellent communication skills
