The Company
Robert Half is recruiting for a qualified Financial Accountant to join a large organisation on a 6-month basis. This is a great opportunity for someone to join a well-respected company who can thrive in a busy and challenging environment and would suit a candidate on their Working Holiday Visa. The role is based in a great location in the Inner Eastern Suburbs, with close access to public transport.
The Role
Reporting into the Finance Manager this role requires someone with a strong Audit or Financial Accounting background. The duties will involve:
• Financial reporting
• Statutory accounting
• Transactional duties i.e. Bank reconciliations, Accounts Payable/Receivable etc.
• Month end and cyclical reporting
• Preparing monthly statements
• Analysing and investigating variances
Your Profile
The successful candidate will have a strong and proven background in Financial Accounting. The client is looking for a qualified Accountant with strong technical accounting and statutory reporting skills. Experience working in Audit for a top-tier accountancy firm will be highly regarded. You will have good interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills. Intermediate Excel skills are a must.
Experience working with ERP based systems will be highly regarded.
