Your new company
Working with this BIG 4 firm as a senior analyst, you’ll gain exposure to complex day to day tax affairs for some of Australia’s largest and most complicated groups. Working in a role which is advisory focused you will leverage the knowledge and expertise of other internal service lines and broaden your exposure to the overall tax business to build your internal profile. You will have the opportunity to work your way up the career ladder and be a future Manager for the business as well as access to work agility.
Your new role
Applying your practical corporate and international tax experience you’ll advise on cross-border tax issues and provide high quality, value add tax advice. Assisting global businesses with their Australian tax obligations and advising on special and complex projects you can expect to:
- Provide complex tax advice in relation to corporate restructures, acquisitions and divestments as well as tax losses, tax consolidation, CGT, debt/equity
- Support the delivery of multiple client engagements
- Build and maintain trusted client relationships through exceptional client service
- Utilise your high attention to detail and analytical skills to draw insights and problem solve
- Manage and mentor our upcoming talent in the team through coaching and on the job training
- Work directly and learning from experienced Partners across all engagements
What you'll need to succeed
Ideally coming from a Commerce and/or Law background you will be looking to take that next step in your career and not only be challenged but rewarded in your role. Being commercially aware and pro-active in nature will set you up for success and you can look forward to building on your skills and capability.
Coming from an international or corporate tax background you will be commercially aware, with the ability to pro-actively manage our client’s tax affairs. A high detail focus and strong analytical skills with set you up for success in this exciting and challenging role.
