This role has several aspects, operational, financial reporting & customer relationships. The purpose of the role is to provide  high quality financial support, analysis and reporting for the assigned properties within their portfolio.

You will:-

• Process the Fixed Asset Depreciation Journal 
• Manage a team of 3
• Process the GST Payment Journal
• Assist with the Audit process for Year end, Half year Review, Internal Audit & Sox, Trust audit & Outgoings audit
• Prepare Mini BAS Statements
• Ensure MRI tenancy schedules are maintained accurately and where applicable are updated in a timely manner to ensure various sources can rely upon current tenant status
• Ensure new leases are accounted for in accordance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Enter and maintain lease information into MRI (Property Management Reporting System)
• Maintain lease Diary/Critical Date Report
• Generate tenant invoicing, receipting, implementation of reviews, charges and other tenant information updates in MRI when required
• Generate Tenant Late Fees
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliation and organise daily receipting
• Complete owner remittances and corresponding journals
• Follow internal processes and controls for on-site property teams
• Review month end journals for the team
• Assist with correcting lease and suite data, ensuring that all tenant/property information is maintained in line with Data
• Prepare monthly lease reports
• Complete Quarterly reporting – Lease Reports, Group Report, Straight line and Amortisation Forecast  

Requirements of the successful candidate:- 

• Degree qualified or near, ideally working towards CA/CPA qualification
• Minimum 3 – 4 years accounting experience
• Advance excel skills
• MR, Fixed Asset and BAS experience preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills
• Well organised and able to prioritise tasks for self and on-site management team
• High level of detail and ability to analyse operational results
