An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and enthusiastic Business Analyst to join our highly successful Nutrition team within Abbott on a 12 month contract with the view to become permanent. The position will provide strong and reliable analytical support to ANZ commercial business to ensure consistency of information and one set of numbers throughout the organisation.

Core job responsibilities:

• Prepare LBEs, S&OP, accruals and month end closure, reconciliations and financial reporting in line with Abbott policies and procedures
• Review and monitor the P&Ls to meet budgets
• Work with Demand & Supply functions in projecting net sales, cost of write-off from distributors as part of quarterly LBE projection
• Calculate quarterly sales incentives, P&L's by channel
• Assist with costing and budget planning
• Provide special ad-hoc analysis and projects as directed by Senior Commercial Manager and other functional groups within the company
• Form a timeline required to complete and deliver results by deadlines

Minimum experience/education/skillset required:

• Business degree majoring in Accounting/Finance
• Studying towards CPA or CA qualifications
• Minimum 5 years’ accounting experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience in financial planning and analysis with evident success, preferably gained in a Healthcare company or FMCG
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable working both autonomously and part of a team
• Advanced Excel skills and excellent attention to detail
• Strong analytical mind
