We have an exciting opportunity for an Internal Auditor to join our growing Internal Audit team. As an Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for objective assurance on the effectiveness and efficiency of risk management processes and internal controls for Steinhoff Asia Pacific.

Reporting directly to the Head of Internal Audit, your main responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with the preparation of the annual internal audit plan
• Operating within the guidelines of the internal audit charter.
• Assisting with the preparation of the internal audit programs at the commencement of the internal audit.
• Communicate detailed internal audit findings reports with management.
• Assist with the preparation of the detailed quarterly internal audit report for the audit committee.

Ideally you will have:

• Strong investigative, precision thinking, and statistical analysis capabilities
• The ability to travel to execute audit projects
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, to come up with and drive solutions to any areas of risk you may identify
• Strong understanding of risks and controls applicable to business
• Outstanding interpersonal with the ability to adapt and be resilient
• Tech savvy – able to understand and work across the various platforms our business units utilise
