SENIOR BOOKKEEPER/LEAD ACCOUNTS PAYABLE OFFICER
A successful and expanding food wholesale business on the southern end of the Gold Coast is currently looking to fill a long-term position for a senior bookkeeper/lead accounts payable officer. You will help manage a small and dynamic administration team and report directly to the business owners.
This is a full-time position with early morning starts.
Duties will include, but not limited to:
- Bookkeeping data entry
- Payroll
- Reconciling bank accounts
- Debtor Finance with Bank
- Accounts payable and weekly creditors
- Debt Collection
- Weekly stock pricing
- Scanning and filing
- Ad hoc excel reporting
- Assisting the Business Directors with their personal matters
- Superannuation, lodging contributions online via superannuation clearing houses
- General office housekeeping including office supplies
- Generating customer orders
- A good telephone manner is essential as you will be dealing with calls from Customers and Suppliers
To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:
- Minimum of 4 years experience in Bookkeeping or Accounts payable including payroll
- High level of self organisation
- Experience with Fresh Computer Systems and MYOB will be highly regarded
- High level of ability in Microsoft Office suite with particular regard to Excel
- Possess accurate data entry skills and have attention to detail
- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Enjoy and take pride in your work
- Ability to deal with difficult clients and situations when they arise
- This position would be suitable for a mature aged worker or employee looking to return to the workforce
Successful candidates will be interviewed by the business owners, lead manager and the company accountant to help test their skills and ability to be successful in the role.
