As part of the Operations team, the Operations Assistant will provide front line support for the insurance and payments business including processing, reconciliation and customer liaison.

Principal responsibilities:

• Processes payments and documents such as invoices, journal vouchers, to the company’s accounting software
• Verifies policies billed against applications received and reconciles differences through follow-up with the provider and/or other employees
• Insurance renewals and extensions
• Handles reconciliations, refunds, commissions as well as daily, weekly & monthly payments.
• Banking, invoicing and credit card reconciliation
• Posts financial data to appropriate accounts to the company’s accounting system
• Enters, updates, and/or retrieves accounting data from systems
• Reconciles transactions, financial data, and other information to the company’s accounting system
• Management of Xero accounting software
• Answering phone calls, emails & help-desk tickets regarding customers' needs
• Ad-hoc research activities Experience, qualifications and personal attributes
• Attention to detail
• Effective communicator
• Customer focus and interaction skills
• Strong organisation capability
• Second language preferable, ideally Mandarin
• Degree qualified preferable, no specific major
