About the Company
MBD Industries has a vision to build a leading and sustainable commercial enterprise utilising the power of nature. We have worked closely with James Cook University in Townsville to develop proprietary know-how in harnessing nature to clean water and grow sustainable sources of nutrition for plants, animals and humans.
We are seeking to bring into the team an experienced business analyst who will be able to make true impact on the organisation, enabling it to make the right decisions to effectively manage the business while pursuing growth opportunities.
About the Role
Your day to day role will involve:
Business Analysis
- Developing and maintaining the corporate model for business planning and valuation purposes
Business Partnering
- Partner with key business leaders for business case preparations, reporting and value-add initiatives
Reporting
- Preparation and delivery of monthly management and board reports, including strong analytics
Forecasting
- Manage monthly cash flow forecast process
Budgeting
- Aid in the annual budgeting process including creating, critiquing, and reconciling required reports
About You
Your background could vary, having worked in either an accounting firm, a financial institution or even a commercial business. Critical to your success will be the following:
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting/ Business
- Qualified or part-qualified (CA/ CPA/ CFA, etc.)
- Advanced Excel abilities including practical financial modelling experience
- Excellent written and verbal presentation skills
- Strong commercial acumen and business decision making
- Excellent stakeholder management
