As the Finance Business Partner you will use your experience alongside your financial and strategic expertise to influence and advise pillar leaders and key stakeholders to drive the implementation of the businesses strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with non finance stakeholders and provide strategic advice on market trends, benchmarking and potential opportunities or risks in relation to budgetary position
- Oversee all elements of the entities financials to ensure budgets are effectively managed, variance risks are minimised, adjustments to forecasts are made when needed and financial targets are achieved
- Conduct financial modelling and analysis, including costing and cost allocation methodologies
- Provide perceptive management insight including reviewing standard management reports, monthly accounts and ad hoc reports
- Review and contribute to the development of grant proposals to ensure financial information required is attained and accurate in a timely manner
- Prepare business cases to address variations to budget
- Continually review business performance against recognised standards and contribute to business improvement through reporting and advice
- Lead, direct and collaborate with the Senior Manager Business Partnering to ensure critical financial information is conveyed in key stakeholders meetings
- Tertiary qualification in accounting and CA or CPA Qualification with extensive relevant professional experience
- Demonstrated management reporting, forecasting and budgeting experience in an organisation
- Demonstrated effective and successful interaction at Senior Management and Board level
- Demonstrated experience in providing complex analytical and strategic insights, including an in-depth understanding of complex financial analysis and modelling techniques and tools
- Strong business acumen and commercial awareness as well as an understanding finance operations and management processes
- Advanced communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills to inform, persuade and negotiate with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders, to meet organisational expectations and work collaboratively in a team environment
