A leading, listed company is looking for a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Officer with strong reconciliations experience. This role mainly deals with complex reconciliations for various business units within the organisation. Ideally this organisation is looking for an individual with strong reconciliations, banking, negotiation skills and processing experience within the receivable function.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Preparation of sales invoices and system maintenance of client prices
- Accurate and timely billing of invoices to clients
- Processing of credit notes for clients
- Set up new customers on accounting system
- Allocation of customer cash receipts to relevant customer debtor account
- Ensure debtors days are managed to within targets set and monthly cash collection targets are met
- Investigate and resolve all customer related queries on invoices
- Preparation of financial reporting schedules
- Ad hoc requests as and when required
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
- Ideally degree qualified in a relevant area
- Strong attention to detail
- High levels of organisation and time management
- Excellent communication skills with stakeholders of all levels
- Strong working experience with Excel
