This role is responsible for providing financial support to the Commercial Finance Manager and Sales & Marketing teams, including analysis and forecasting of all facets of the Sales & Marketing unit, encompassing management and KPI reporting, forecasting, financial control and commercial decision support.

Description
Development and maintenance of the bid and pricing model and pricing policy
Regular analysis of accounts receivable identifying trends and performance
Business partnering with sales account managers, GM’s and NPD area to develop models from scratch. The successful candidate will also be working closely with the Sales and Marketing teams on identifying risks and opportunities, as well as tracking upcoming strategic projects and initiatives. The successful person must feel comfortable in working with and influencing these stakeholders
Hands on involvement with business case assumptions & modelling
Mergers & Acquisitions. This division has grown primarily via acquisitions, and there is a big appetite for further acquisitions within the division
Profile
- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- CA/CPA qualified preferred
- Experience in a financial or commercial role within FMCG or Manufacturing would be ideal, with further experience in partnering with Sales & Marketing
- Experience using SAP would be preferred but not a must have
- Strong financial skills & knowledge, proven financial modelling skills & high competency in MS Excel
- Excellent communication and ability to build rapport at all levels
- Ability to take raw data and deliver commercial outcomes
- Ability to juggle conflicting workloads and manage a number of different projects
