YOUR NEXT ROLE
You will be joining a team of dedicated financial professionals in our newly renovated offices based a short drive from the CBD and reporting directly to the Chief Accountant & Business Analyst. This role includes responsibilities for Reporting, Compliance & Governance as well as being the point of contact for all payroll enquiries and processing of pays. Your key duties will include:
- Assisting with monthly management accounts and performing month-end close processes as well as preparation of management reports & related activities.
- Completing P&L & BS Variance analysis and reporting.
- Preparation of GL reconciliations.
- Assisting with budgets and forecast cycles.
- Preparating and lodgement of annual FBT returns, BAS and execution of ABS obligations.
- Payroll processing for both weekly and monthy pays.
WANT TO APPLY?
This role with suit those applicants with not only the technical accounting experience but those with sound communication skills and customer service orientation. In addition applicants will need to demonstrate the following to be considered:
- Previous exp. working in a similiar role.
- Undergrad qualifications in Accounting or Finance with a preference for CPA or CA credentials
- Previous exp. working within the agricultural or horticultural sector preferred but not essential.
- Proficiency in the use of ERP systems such as SAP or equivalent, and with Payroll systems such as Preceda, ADP or similiar as well as high proficiency in Excel.
