We are currently partnering with a highly successful organisation with international distribution capability, which is squarely focused on providing innovative, architectural-quality façade products to the construction industry. Having grown exponentially over the past decade, both organically and through acquisition, we are currently seeking a high-calibre Accounts Services Manager to join and manage the existing team.

With almost 30 years' experience in the façade industry, our client is committed to providing aesthetically superior, innovative and safe façade products to the construction industry. Buoyed by the construction boom in recent years, and with one of the largest stock holds in Australia, our client ensures consistent and timely supply to its dedicated installer network, its business practices underpinned by its passion for exceptional customer outcomes. Our clients' offices are located in Lithgow. 


The Role

This role exists to ensure efficient and timely delivery of the transactional commercial functions of accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchasing, supplier expediting and financial analysis. Managing a team of 3 (with a 4th position to be recruited), you will lead the team day to day, as well as undertake operational tasks in the above functional areas to support the team when required.

Additional to this, you will be responsible for developing and implementing working capital management systems, with a principal focus on inventory. Whilst experience in this area is highly advantageous, we welcome applications from candidates who do not have experience with working capital management systems and full training will be provided.

Fundamental to this role is excellent knowledge and execution of Accounts services and the production of financial data reporting. Whilst prior experience leading a team would be beneficial, we are looking for someone who has solid experience in the accounting field who can exhibit the attributes and capability to grow into managing and supporting a small team.


This includes the following responsibilities:

  • Daily supervision of Accounts department
  • Develop and recommend working capital management systems that improve trading cash outcomes and enhance customer satisfaction
  • Accountable for delivery of trading cash outcomes in inventory, accounts receivable and accounts payable
  • Responsible for day-to-day management of relationships with existing suppliers regarding financial matters
  • Accountable for cash reporting to Leadership team
  • Ensure integrity of financial data for management reporting and interpretation of performance indicators
  • Perform month end duties ensuring deadlines are met
  • Managing and dealing with discrepancies, queries and escalations


What we are looking for:

  • Experience and competency in commercial functions of accounts receivable, accounts payable and purchasing
  • Demonstrated competency in transactional supply chain management
  • Knowledge of and experience in business systems (IT) use and optimisation
  • Sound leadership ability, including development of strong and productive internal relationships
  • Post-secondary business qualifications in accounting systems, administration or supply chain management
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Whilst previous management experience is preferred, we will consider candidates looking to take the next step in their career providing they have the right Accounts and communication skills
