• UP TO $120,000 + SUPER + BONUS

This well established billion dollar organisation is an industry leader in the field that they operate in. With a huge international presence they are known for their high levels of service offering and are poised for further growth in their finance team based in the CBD.

In this role, you will act as the 2IC to the Financial Controller ensuring the integrity and accuracy of high quality of internal and external financial reporting.

Key responsibilities:

• Maintain control over group financial information and develop financial reporting through the effective use of available tools.
• Finalise the month-end accounts, ensuring balances are reconciled according to the datelines.
• Manage the provision of audit information and related issues for all statutory audits.
• Develop new financial policies and procedures appropriate for changing business processes and maintain existing policies and procedures.
• Implement improvements in financial controls and educate the business on such matters.
• Provide the CFO Team and other business units ongoing financial accounting support as required.

  Key requirements:   

• Must be a CA qualified accountant with minimum of 3 years post qualification experience from the big 4.
• Proven excellence in interpreting and communicating technical accounting issues under IFRS, UK GAAP and US GAAP.
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
• Strong communicator (both oral and written) and able to manage relationships with a range of key stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to enhance the development of team members with a capacity for coaching and mentoring.
• Experienced with ERP financial systems and an advanced knowledge of Excel.
