Accountant - Intermediate/Senior - varied industries

Our client requires a graduate accountant to assist in his public practice. If you are currently undergoing studies towards your CA or CPA and are looking for a long term career with possibility of career succession, then this might be the role for you.  

Your responsibilities will include:

• Taxation reporting
• depreciation schedules
• forensic accounting
• set up of Charts of Accounts for several companies
• assisting with statutory reporting
• SMSF experience
• BAS Statements
• PAYG Instalments
• Company Tax Returns
• Excellent knowledge on tax laws

You must have the following experience and qualifications:

• minimum 2 years post graduate experience combined with experience working in a similar capacity role
• Bachelor Degree in Accountancy
• Intermediate Tax Accountant
• Studying towards a CA or CPA
• experience in transitioning companies into new entities
• experience working with a multitude of groups over varied industries
• demonstrated experience as a forensic accountant
• an excellent understanding of tax laws, ways of making tax savings, relevant accounting standards
• liaising with senior management, auditors, consultants, and etc
• MYOB AE
