This is an opportunity to join a successful SME, who is a niche market leader in their sector.
The Job Opportunity
The position will report into the CEO and work with the Management Team to ensure compliance with the administrative policies and procedures used to create revenue and control expenses.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, aptitude to investigative problem solving, ERP (preferably Microsoft Navision) and Project cost control experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Corporate Governance.
• Financial Management (Financial Control, P&L, Balance Sheet, Debtors, Creditors & Payroll).
• Management Reporting (financial reports).
• Commercial Management (Insurance, banking, funding, CAPEX, Scholarships, Leasing).
• Budget & Forecasting (Rolling, Financial year, variance analysis and reporting).
• Purchasing.
• Project Bids & Pricing.
• Project Costing.
• Contract Negotiation & Management.
• Stakeholder Management (Company Accountant, Investors & Bank).
The successful candidate will require the ability to engage with various stakeholders, in order to service the specific requirements of the business, whilst operating within an environment that requires high levels of probity, corporate governance and a commercial focus on providing value for money.
The Successful Candidate
• Tertiary qualifications in Commerce or related discipline.
• Financial management experience.
• Project Management experience.
• Defence industry experience (desirable).
• Solid Commercial Management experience.
