This is a highviz senior role supporting strategic stakeholders across the breadth of their business units.
This role requires confidence around managing expectations, staff, data analytics, strategy and hitting timelines.
As the Finance Manager, you will be someone that enjoys supporting businesses in decision making through leading and managing the delivery of finance services in key areas such as:
- Performance result evaluation including commentary, insights and recommendations
- Modelling and advice of financial outcomes through changes to Business Unit inputs and/or drivers
- Complex financial modelling and robust stress testing analysis to support business cases including what if scenario analysis
- Key performance analysis including key driver impacts on the business
- Provision of external analysis such as benchmarking and competitor analysis
The ideal candidate is someone that has worked across multiple areas within a large complex business, requiring a "can-do" outlook within an agile mindset.
Responsibilities:
- Delivery of management reporting and business performance insights as requested from the CFO's, Group Strategy, Group Transformation and Group Finance while negotiating realistic delivery time-frames.
- Managing a team (4) of Decision Support Management Accountants, supporting the business in decision making across changes in the Business Units.
- Support the business with strategic financial modelling and data analytics
- Drive different scenario analysis intended to influence key business decisions
- Business partnering with various commercial and operational stakeholders
- Ensure that all associated tasks and responsibilities comply and conform with relevant regulatory and quality requirements and Company policies and standards.
Profile:
- CA/CPA/CIMA/ACCA Qualified
- 5+ year's experience in similar role
- Hyperion and Oracle experience is preferred
- Experience in business partnering and stakeholder management
- Strong influencing skills with a can-do attitude
- High attention to detail and analytical
- Strategic thinker that likes to challenge the status quo
