A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced Motor professional to join QBE as National Manager, Motor Strategy. In this role you will be responsible for defining the motor strategy for claims and executing in order to improve the customer experience, drive growth and bottom line profitability. A key aspect of this role will also be to ensure QBE partners, stakeholders and operations understand the motor strategy and are on the journey to build QBE’s claims future.

The opportunity

  • Engage business partners in the design and execution of the motor strategy
  • Design future motor models and supply chain
  • Design tracking and benefits analysis
  • Leverage customer insights and develop models to improve the customer claims channels, touch points and supply chain
  • Embed the customer claim journey initiatives from the customer program
  • Identify industry best practice for motor claims, supply chain and assessing
  • Inspire innovation from the business for cost, quality and service ideas on optimising motor claims and assessing
  • Lead forums to develop activities in unison with internal business partners to ensure end to end activates effecting the motor P&L
  • Represent motor claims in interlock meetings and communications
  • Facilitate routines and ensure QBE influence external relationships and industry bodies in order to effectively execute on strategy

What does success look like?

  • Experienced business leader, ideally with exposure to developing Motor Supply Chain strategies
  • Strong knowledge of general insurance and risk management
  • Leadership and management experience as an Industry Influencer
  • In-depth subject matter expertise on Motor Supply Chain
