GENERAL MANAGER, MERCY PLACE BALLARAT
Mercy Place Ballarat, a new residential aged care home, is opening later this year and is seeking a General Manager to oversee operations and provide optimum care to residents in line with their small household living model and Mercy Health Values.
Small household living is at the centre of the Mercy Health model of care and Mercy Place Ballarat will be the first home to be purpose built around this concept. Mercy Place Ballarat will cater for 112 residents in 14 small households.
This innovative new approach to aged care will see small households of eight residents living together with a dedicated team of carers. This will provide the opportunity for people to live as independently as possible, and to form meaningful relationships with other residents and carers.
The General Manager will be responsible for the overall operational management of this purpose-built residential aged care home in Ballarat. This includes a focus on relationship management; financial, care and HR management, as well as providing exceptional leadership to a talented group of specialised professionals.
The General Manager will embed the Mercy Health model of care and focus on exceptional service delivery and community engagement. The role requires a values driven senior manager, who ultimately drives positive customer experience and embraces a culturally diverse workforce.
To be successful in this role, you must be a strong leader, with extensive experience in a multidisciplinary or customer focused related industry. You will have sound financial acumen and the ability to implement legislative changes and manage operational budgets. You will be values driven, and strive for excellence.
