Schneider Electric ITB is a global leader in critical power & cooling services providing industry leading product, software, systems & services for data centres.

Our business is responsible for the provision of maintenance & breakdown response & repairs to 24/7 critical operations; including major high profile clients & our projects range from small to large technical services packages with high levels of system integration on construction sites or within operating Data Centres. We are looking to increase our already impressive capability through the employment of a motivated and experienced Project Manager in Brisbane.

Working within the ITB PMO you will be responsible for the delivery of projects according to the requirements of the Customer Project Process (CPP), protecting or improving margin, handling risk & project financials whilst ensuring a high level of customer happiness is maintained on projects.

Main responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to:

• Effectively handling of small project teams using internal & external resources to deliver solutions
• Leading multiple projects via the Schneider Electric CPP with responsibility for ensuring schedules & budgets are achieved whilst maintaining positive level of customer happiness
• Mitigate risk and increase opportunity across all projects; ensure audit results return compliance with the CPP

While committing to the Schneider PMO through continuous improvement and lessons learnt you will possess the following:

• A Mechatronics or system integration background tertiary qualifications or Electrical or Mechanical trade with a high degree of integration experience
• PMP cert or equivalent complemented by the capability to develop & maintain a project program with MS Project or similar
• Extensive track record of project management preferably in the data centre, IT, technology, engineering or construction sector
• Ability to engage partners at all levels, building positive business partnerships
• Demonstrated experience in preparing & facilitating meetings, workshops & training
• Success in driving & delivering on time, on budget, with high partner satisfaction simultaneous projects including, med -high complexity > $5M, 12month+ schedules & senior management sponsorship
• Ability to work autonomously in a matrix environment, excellent time management skills, ability to prioritize workload for self as well as provide direction for others
• Excellent verbal & written skills, including social, communication & presentation skills
• Ability to develop effective and professional documents, tools and presentation materials
