The Company Sanitarium is a progressive and dynamic company that is Australian owned and produces Australia’s and New Zealand’s favourite breakfast cereal - Weet-Bix and Australia’s and New Zealand’s leading liquid breakfast – Up & Go.
The Role
An exciting new opportunity exists in our dynamic Export team as a Business Manager – Export. The role is based at our Head Office site which is located at Berkeley Vale Central Coast. As the want for Australian and New Zealand products continue to rise internationally the need to continually resource this area of the business to keep up with demand.
Core responsibilities in the role include:
- Plan and develop the introduction of existing and new products to our export markets.
- Review sale forecasts.
- Trade Spend investment management.
- Proactively address in market challenges and gaps to achieve business plan targets.
- Regular travel to international markets to monitor and measure performance against business plans
- Liaise between regulatory/compliance and our export customers.
- Ensure that all products exported are forecast and the demand planning systems are keep up-to-date
The person
The successful candidate will be a highly organised, a results focused individual who has exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to build long lasting business partnerships in our Export markets. Strong commercial acumen, business development and negotiation skills are critical for success in the role.
Qualifications and experience
- Previous experience in a sales and marketing role.
- Proven ability to build and maintain ethical relationships.
- Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Demonstrated experience writing and implementing business plans.
- Experience in Export or International trade is highly advantageous.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Business, international Business or similar is desirable but not essential.
The selection process will include interviews, online and functional testing as well as internal reference checking.
