The Organisation:

The Opportunity:


Reporting to the Training Manager, this role will see you building and nurturing crucial client and apprentice relationships. This is a highly autonomous role that will require you to be "out and about" in the field for the majority of your time.

You will manage a portfolio of apprentices and will be the first point of contact for the apprentice and their employers. This role will see you conducting site visits and building relationships with apprentices and clients. You will ensure that existing apprentices  are succeeding in their placements while using a soft sales approach to develop new placement opportunities for trainees.

The Duties:
  • Building relationships with all apprentices and clients within the portfolio and striving to drive portfolio growth;
  • Scheduling and attending quarterly visits with apprentices and their employers;
  • Monitor and find solutions for or escalate any issues identified as required;
  • Record any meeting notes or client/trainee interactions within the CRM;
  • Following up on leads supplied by management to drive growth of placement opportunities for trainees
The Ideal Candidate:

This role will suit a genuine people person with an eye for detail and strong relationship building skills. You will have strong organisation skills and the ability to balance a busy schedule of visits with the required administration and reporting activities. To excel in this role, you will demonstrate:
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build and nurture relationships and liaise with individuals at all levels;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Experience working within a database-driven environment and willingness to make notes and maintain records;
  • A valid unencumbered NSW Drivers License;
  • A Cert IV in WHS or willingness to complete this (paid for by the company, valued at $6,000!);
  • Exposure to the building and construction industry or another related trade would be highly regarded
