The Role
Lincoln Sentry have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Specification Consultant to join our Cabinet Hardware team in Sydney. Reporting to the National Commercial Manager this is a new opportunity to join a national sales team who are energetic, committed and driven towards success. This role will see you drive cabinet hardware sales in the NSW market by increasing Lincoln Sentry’s share of wallet in the specifier market.
Your customer base will be varied and you will utilise your existing networks and our team of sales representatives to maintain continued growth with architects, builders, kitchen designers, developers and industry bodies. This role will also involve working closely with our retail clients to help them develop their showrooms and maximise their sales to reach mutually beneficial outcomes.
The role will be varied and include securing specifications, delivering training to clients, monitoring upcoming commercial projects to identify new opportunities, participating in industry events and providing client solutions.
Being a highly competitive market, you will need to build and establish strong working relationships with key decision makers and influencers to ensure Lincoln Sentry become their cabinet hardware partner of choice.
Essential Criteria
In addition to being a confident communicator with experience in the kitchen or design industry this role requires a high level of organisation and an eye for commercial opportunity.
The successful candidate will have worked in a similar role combining product training, consultation and business development.
You will also have strong negotiation and presentation skills, along with exceptional networking skills and a clear understanding of industry players.
