We are currently looking to recruit a Medical Delegate to work on a National basis. You will be responsible for sales growth and development of Vitaflo IEM brands with key customers groups, increasing the prescription rate of Vitaflo products and achieving specified sales and market share targets. The role is field based however there will be regular contact and visits to our head office in Geelong.

Key job responsibilities

• To meet and exceed sales and activity targets within a defined territory and utilising sales data to identify opportunities and risks
• Identify and develop new IEM business opportunities from either adult or paediatric centres within the IEM channel
• Increase health professional recommendations and patient utilisation of V2U Home Delivery Service
• Ensure relationships with KOL's, Key Decision makers and Patient advocacy groups are developed and maintained
• Accurately maintain all customer call activity in the company CRM
• Implement Professional Selling Skills in every customer call
• Organise and attend clinical education and patient centric events. Ensure Vitaflo Australia are recognised as industry leader for education and patient advocacy
• Provide in-field insights on emerging trends and competitor activity
• Manage projects that will aid in developing new business strategies or resources to support growth in the IEM market as specified by the Platform Manager
• Participate in training workshops, sales conferences and team meetings
• Maintain high level of clinical knowledge by attending conventions and seminars as required
• Operate your national territory with full autonomy

Key skills

• Minimum 3 years’ background experience in Dietetics (preferably Paediatric and/or Metabolic nutrition)
• Experience in medical nutrition or pharmaceutical sales is essential
• Commercially astute, experience in Key Account Management will be advantageous.
• Highly motivated, driven and energetic with a strong focus on exceeding targets
• Strong hands on approach with the ability to project manage and make timely decisions
• Flexible and able to react accordingly to changing business priorities
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate
• Strategically agile with a proven record of making complex decisions
• Dynamic, enthusiastic and impassioned about the field of nutrition
• Team player with the ability to work and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
