Company
Our client is an established market leader in the world of high-end interior furniture and workplace solutions. They have been in operation for a number of decades and are highly regarded and respected by their industry peers and also throughout the design community. This Sales Support role has been created recently and we are seeking strong applicants who can demonstrate a high level of industry experience and knowledge. The role would report to the National Technical Manager and be based from their beautiful Melbourne showroom. 

Role
As Sales Support your role primarily is to work in unison with the external sales and technical team to get projects over the line. In this multifaceted role you will play an integral part within the project specification process and will be required to quote, estimate, liaise with external stakeholders and play a part in designing take-offs and floor plans to name just a few responsibilities. You will also be required to welcome new customers walking in to the showroom and will answering inbound telephone inquiries. 

Skills & Experience

To be successful in this role you must have the following attributes:

  • Previous experience in a similar role - sales support and/or reception 
  • A working knowledge of commercial furniture and the specification process
  • Be motivated and eager to learn and develop new skills
  • Able to take direction and listen to instructions
  • Ideally, an interior design background/qualification
  • Looking for a long term opportunity and be passionate about the industry
  • A team player, but can also work well autonomously
