L'Oréal Luxe Australia has a unique portfolio, which combines traditional beauty, couture and alternative new luxury brands. In the Australian market our Head Office and Field teams work together to bring the brands Lancôme, YSL Beaute, Giorgio Armani, shu uemura, Urban Decay and the fragrances under the Prestige Collection International umbrella, to our consumers through department stores, selected pharmacies and ecommerce.

About the role

We are currently seeking a highly commercial and relationship driven Key Account Manager to join our team. Working closely with our pharmacy retailers you will be entrepreneurial in approach and bring an ambition, which can be delivered while being able to balance the commercial and strategic priorities of a key account. With ownership for developing account strategies, you will embody the brands you represent by developing long-term relationships with key decision makers.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

  • Providing excellent analytical and financial data to support strategic decisions, sell in and launch platforms    
  • Developing credible and sustainable relationships across the key retailer accounts, delivering integrated strategies to help shape their growth plans, becoming the supplier of choice.
  • Building commercial plans for the account from conceptualisation to execution
  • Negotiating commercial arrangements with the key retailer account for product launches and promotions
  • Effectively engaging closely with external stakeholders to develop accurate stock and sell out forecasts

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent commercial account management experience. Previous experience in a similar role within the cosmetics or beauty category collaborating with large pharmacy accounts such as Priceline, My Chemist, Terry White is highly desirable. A natural collaborator with a strong analytical skills, you will be able to influence those around you to drive the account growth. Possessing gravitas and excellent communication skills you will be able to articulate a clear vision and be able to work in partnership with your key account to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes. Your commercial approach will set you apart as will your conviction and resilience.
