The Company

This rapidly expanding infrastructure organisation is seeking an experienced, passionate and results driven Business Development Manager to take ownership of a key role in NSW.

The Position

In this role your primary focus will be on developing strategies to drive growth and successfully winning new businesses to grow the organisation.

Key responsibilities:

• Identify opportunities for business growth, whilst developing on existing relationships
• Emerge and sustain effective channels of communication to capitalise knowledge on future prospects
• Maintain & build relationships with key stakeholders across various industries
• Develop strategies, proposals and quotations
• Prepare tenders by managing and leading a specialise bid team relevant to the opportunity
• Recognising and reporting on competitor’s activity

The Candidate

• Must have extensive experience as a Business Development Manager within the Transportation Industry or from a closely related industry which deals with government infrastructure operators
• Demonstrated achievement in securing multimillion dollar contracts
• Extensive experience in selling integrated electronic solutions
• Must be tech savvy and a strategic thinker
• Demonstrated experience in leading a team
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to build rapport with stakeholders at all levels
