Linear Medical primarily functions as the developer, importer and supplier of high quality medical consumables to the Healthcare Industry. We have a vacancy for an experienced and enthusiastic Sales Representative who will be based in Brisbane covering Metropolitan and key regional areas located in QLD.
This is a semi-autonomous Sales role which requires excellent relationship building skills combined with the ability to work independently across a range of medically related markets. Reporting into the Sales and Marketing Manager your role will be to increase Sales and expand awareness of the Linear Medical brand and portfolio through the development of key relationships with existing and prospective customers.
To be successful in this role you will be able to identify the needs and opportunities of our customers, using your product knowledge, you will be able to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders in both clinical and purchasing areas and achieve revenue and targets as per budget plan across the product range with the support of the Sales and Marketing Manager.
Essential Criteria:
- A proven track record of achievement in a Sales/Account Representative position
- Tertiary education (Science, Diagnostic or Healthcare related field preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of sales experience within the Healthcare industry
- Demonstrated learning agility and sales acumen
- Exceptional presentation and communication skills both oral and written
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work semi-autonomously and to use initiative
- The ability to interact meaningfully with both internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to problem solve and think laterally
- Ability to work within varied time frames
- Customer focussed
- Computer literate with Microsoft office
- Valid driver’s licence and flexibility to travel as required
