The Opportunity
We are seeking a commercially savvy superstar to join our successful Major Accounts Sales team as a BDM. This role is suited to a hunter who is passionate about prospecting new business opportunities whilst managing and developing our existing relationships with Major Construction companies. Ideally you will have a strong background in selling building products within the commercial building sector. This exciting and challenging role is responsible for securing commercial accounts and projects within the Victorian markets and promoting our company’s extensive product range.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver new business opportunities within the commercial building sector across Victoria
- Build and maintain relationships with existing customers across Victoria
- Manage project life cycles
- Partnering closely with our internal stakeholders to gain support and leveraging all departments to provide holistic customer solutions
About You
You have a proven track record of success in a commercial sales environment with the ability to manage the end to end sales process. You love securing new business and you’re comfortable working across the project lifecycle from board room to construction site and everywhere in between. You’re a great communicator and team player and you build rapport and relationships with ease, with a professional and ethical approach at all times and a strong focus on customer service excellence. Previous experience with a Customer Relationships Management System (we use Salesforce. Com) will help us to set you up for success and spending time on the road, you will of course need a full drivers licence and a big safety focus!
