B.L. Shipway is the leading distributor of Fluid Power products in South Australia. A proudly South Australian owned and operated private company, specialising in the manufacture, distribution and service of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and industrial hose and fittings.
Reporting to B.L. Shipway Sales Manager & RYCO Sales Manager Australia, the main focus of this role is to market and build market share of RYCO products and services through approved distributors, OEM’s and end users and to oversee the RYCO 24•7 operations within South Australia.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
- A solid technical aptitude
- Outstanding sales and relationship management skills
- Be committed to, and have a strong working knowledge of, Work Health and Safety and Environmental requirements.
- Implementing, monitoring and auditing WHS&E and Quality Assurance procedures.
Candidates ideally would have the following tertiary qualifications or equivalent:
- A qualification in Business, Business Administration, Business Management or Business Marketing
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
This position will be a permanent position and it will be the successful candidate’s responsibility to coordinate the existing RYCO 24•7 Operators’ and to monitor and improve their performance. Also, to generate profitable sales through the promotion and marketing of the range of RYCO products and capabilities to clients and potential clients.
Candidates with one or more of the following experiences, will be given preference for this position:
- Previous Territory Sales experience or sales experience in a similar industry
- Product knowledge or the ability to learn and adapt to Industrial and Agricultural product ranges
- Strong mechanical aptitude
