We are currently seeking a 2 highly self-motivated Trade Account Manger to join our sales team that services the needs of Trade Customers throughout South East Queensland.
The successful candidate will be experienced in sales with a minimum 2 year track record in the building industry dealing with builders and suppliers. They must be safety conscious, able to present and communicate well, be self motivated with a strong work ethic.
This package includes a fully maintained company vehicle, generous salary package plus incentive scheme for the successful candidate. This position involves the overall management and day to day operations of trading customers. To actively generate new business and achieve the required margin for the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Achievement of sales budgets maintaining profit forecasts in accordance with budget parameter
- Maintain and develop strong relationships with key customers and internal staff
- Provide quotes in a timely manner
- Comply with and promote company occupational health and safety policies and guidelines
- Manage complaints on service, price, products or company image as viewed in the market place in conjunction with the Sales Manager
- Manage customer orders, credits, display home requirement etc
- Liasie regularly with Sales Manager to discuss opportunities and plan market activities
- Develop new prospects and accounts
- Manage overheads to assure maintenance of gross profit margins and correct return on investment and stock/sales ratio
To be considered for this role applicants need to be able to meet the following selection criteria:
- A passion for Customer Service
- Previous sales history in plumbing products, appliances and hardware (Minimum 2 years)
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Work in a fast paced team environment
- Portray a positive attitude at all times
- Demonstrate clear written and verbal communication skills
- Previous experience dealing with builders and suppliers is an essential
