Seeking a passionate operator within the building design & construction industry to become a high-end architectural timber windows and doors expert.

 

Nicco Timber Windows & Doors is a privately-owned family business operating within the Architectural products and design industry. We enjoy an outstanding reputation amongst leading builders and architects for creating the highest quality, custom timber windows and doors in some of the most prestigious architectural properties in Sydney.

 

About the Role

We seek a driven and energetic individual with a flair for client service and relationship management, to join our growing sales team. The successful candidate will have extensive experience within the building game and a genuine desire to learn about our high quality timber products to become an expert in this rewarding field.

 

Reporting directly to the Sales Manager, you will be provided with a qualified prospect list and strong lead pipeline. You will also leverage our reputation and your knowledge to drive sales growth and establish long-term relationships. You will be supported by training and systems to help manage your duties successfully.

 

With a solid base package as well as a very generous commission structure on offer and exposure to some of the most impressive construction projects in the market, the opportunities that this role presents for the right candidate are endless. You are encouraged to proactively build and grow your key accounts, and in turn reap the rewards of retaining them.

 

Though the head office is at Kingsgrove, the position entails the need to be able to balance admin.duties with  travel through the Greater Sydney area when needed to meet with builders, architects and home owners.

 

Key responsibilities and accountabilities include but are not limited to:

  • Manage opportunities from existing loyal customer base and deliver quotes according to company procedure
  • Undertake site inspections, liaising with key decision makers to finalise requirements
  • Follow up quotes once issued to clients, to maximise opportunity for conversion
  • Finalise project specifications and handover for project management
  • Establish effective relationships with clients through timely and professional response and interaction  
  • Proactively develop industry knowledge to maintain unparalleled expertise in your field

 

Key selection criteria for this position are:

  • Minimum five years' experience within the construction, architecture or design industries
  • A proven flair in customer service and experience in a client relationship management role, or similar
  • First class negotiation skills and commitment to upholding the highest standards of professionalism
  • Tertiary qualifications, preferably within a relevant design and/or building discipline
  • A solid work ethic in line with our promise of delivering unrivalled quality, service and expertise
  • Excellent personal presentation, written and verbal communications and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to work proactively, with a willingness to handle additional duties during peak periods
  • Advanced PC literacy (MS Office, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
  • Experience with CRM software an advantage, but not essential as training will be offered
