The position
We have a rare opportunity for a Regional Sales Manager to lead, manage and mentor the WA Sales Team. Working collaboratively with the Business Unit Sales Manager and Regional Manager, you will drive growth and be a transformational influence in developing and strengthening the region’s sales capability.
- Deliver long term sustainable growth for the business and implement sales initiatives to support the growth agenda and strategy
- Develop and engage the sales team to build capability and a high performing team
- Contribute to key sales initiates, programs, campaigns and techniques
- Hands on new business development as well as supporting the bid/tender process for identified opportunities
- Manage the local team’s opportunity pipeline
- Develop a strong understanding of waste and associated markets and provide regular market analysis intel

Skills and experience
- Significant commercial/industry business to business sales experience
- Proven leadership and strategic management experience in a similar role
- Strong sales, business development and account management skills
- Significant experience in converting prospects/quotes to profitable new business
- Track record of consistently meeting/exceeding sales targets both as leader and personally
- Goals focused, results driven and strong commercial acumen
- You have a visionary leadership style and easily motivate, train and empower your people to succeed
