About the role

We are currently searching for a Travelling Sales Representative to Manage sales and service of our OEM finished goods range to our customer base in an area encompassing the Southern suburbs of Brisbane, down through the Gold Coast and into Northern New South Wales

What you would be doing

We have been in business for almost 40 years providing quality Brand Name products and superior service and support to the industry. We are passionate about the products we are selling, and we'd expect you to be passionate too!

With a National footprint and Distribution Centre's in every state of Australia - including Head office based in Brisbane - you will have the full backing of stock availability and full deliveries to support you in achieving your objectives.

Spending your days on the road travelling between customer sites, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establish, develop and maintain positive customer relationships through site visits
  • Analyse existing/potential customer needs
  • Present, promote and sell products/services to existing and prospective customers
  • Achieve agreed upon sales targets and outcomes within schedule
  • Track sales and provide regular status reports
  • Ensure the swift resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Keep abreast of best practices in market and communicate trends back to the business

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (including Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Proven ability to build positive professional relationships with customers
  • Highly motivated and target driven with a proven track record in sales
  • Excellent selling, communication and negotiation skills
  • Proven willingness to learn and improve
  • Ability to create and deliver presentations tailored to the audience needs
  • Relevant degree or equivalent
