About the role
The position of Account Manager for Melbourne is at the forefront of business development and client liaison for the Company. The aim of the Account Manager is to generate sales within customers that manufacture furniture and joinery for interior fit out applications. This key person will drive the quality and quantity of product specifications across the market, assist to identify industry trends, be pivotal in building relationships, business leads and sales growth on a continuing basis.


Duties
  • Sit down with Shop fitters, office fitters, manufacturers and fabricators
  • Follow a project specification through its lifecycle
  • Manage & grow a portfolio of key clients
  • Work on sourcing new opportunities
  • Achieve sales KPI’s and ultimately exceed sales targets
Skills and Experience
  • Strong experience in trade sales
  • Client exposure across furniture manufactures, shop fitters, commercial office fitters etc. 
  • Strong portfolio of clients from the above customer base
  • Team oriented / shows leadership experience or capabilities.
