Silicon Block, a sister company of IE Digital, is seeking a driven events & business development professional to join our team based in Richmond.

Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the Business Development & Events Manager supports the growth and execution of Silicon Block’s Events arm.

Silicon Block’s vision is to be an intellectual playground for the lifelong learner. The Business Development & Events Manager supports this by being the driving force behind the experiences that deliver on this vision. The position also supports the Courses arm of the business by focusing on lead generation to drive growth.We’re a young company, seeking a team member that is hungry to work hard, make a difference, and grow within our organisation.

Responsibilities

• Meet targets and manage a pipeline of prospective customers; build and cultivate relationships on an ongoing basis to increase sales

• Proactively manage and respond to a high volume of prospective students and businesses efficiently

• Assist with the preparation of and host events

Requirements

• 1-2 years experience in sales

• Driven by exceeding targets

• Outstanding ability to influence others

• Exceptional closing skills while still maintaining positive relationships

• Ability to think on your feet
