About the Position:

You have consultative experience in business and/or digital transformation solutions for large organisations. In your experience, you’ve balanced delivering on short-term goals, while creating sustainable value for customers, and demand for the future.

You must be a self-starting closer whose approach is one of partnership with your clients. Passionate about customer success and deeply knowledgeable about our industry, your clients trust you to help them maximise their investment in marketing technology.

You will be able to create a large pipeline of business within a short period of time and effectively nurture relationships with existing customers to secure renewal and upsell opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • You see the world through the eyes of the customer by deeply understanding their business needs, challenges, and concerns.
  • You draw on your knowledge of the industry and your customers’ business challenges to create a transformational path and identify products and services we can provide to make them successful and to achieve your sales objectives.
  • You follow a rigorous sales process which you have developed from your years of experience and have first class planning, data collection and forecasting skills that support your success.
  • You maintain your knowledge of our market by meeting with customers, determining common needs that we can serve, regularly reviewing our competitors and their activity, and proposing new solutions we should provide
  • You are a consultative challenger, able to build relationships at an executive level and successful at helping people see different perspectives or opportunities.
  • You are an experienced solution-based sales person, equally comfortable uncovering new leads, qualifying their potential, and progressing discussions through to negotiation and deal closure.
  • The needs of our customers and partners are different but you are able to identify how Amicus Digital can best meet those needs and connect with and influence the right people to deliver successful outcomes.
  • As a go-to person with leadership skills, you are trusted and comfortable in tough situations. You can settle disputes, negotiations and own the hard calls with minimal noise. You step up to conflicts and see them as opportunities to shine.
  • You own the success of your customers and stay connected to them throughout their projects, holding our delivery team accountable and ensuring we are meeting the expectations we set in presales
  • You believe that communication is key to our success. To make us successful you recognise perspectives, patiently listen to every detail and commit to what is right, in order to move us forward.
  • When faced with a challenging opportunity, you know who to connect with and when. People know you as a true collaborator who knows what it takes to win. 
  • Due to changing priorities, urgent customer needs, or a final push to meet a quarterly forecast, you face the daily challenge of where to focus your time and energy.
  • You have grit in the face of resistance or setbacks.
  • You provide regular and accurate forecasts on pipeline development and deal progress.

Requirements:

  • A proven consultant and passionate about making your mark in our business
  • 5+ years complex agency delivery, software sales and/or services-based experience within the marketing industry
  • Ability to consultatively engage with customers and to quickly make complex decisions
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
  • Confident in leading customer-facing discussions and presentation
  • Experience selling at the “C" level
  • Knowledge of the Marketing Cloud platform, products, and services are a plus
