An opportunity has become available for a focused and motivated individual to join our Revesby branch in the position of Major Accounts Manager.
This role will have you selling a large range of construction within NSW region.
Reporting to the Sales Manager, your main responsibilities include:
- Manage an existing network of customers and explore new customers via promotional activities, industry expositions and cold calling.
- Preparation and submission of tenders
- Front lines sales prospecting with new and existing customers within your portfolio
- Ensure all potential and existing customers are contacted on a regular basis and provided with current information on company products and services.
- Assist with setting and achieving product budgets
- Liaise with product managers to develop a client profile to determine the extent of business available within the market place
- Driving general marketing, trade shows and other activities to grow the business
- Reporting of activity, prospects, sales opportunities and competitor activity
To be successful you will need:
- Previous experience in selling to earthmoving, or associated industries
- Act with a sense of urgency completes tasks within time allotted
- Be self-motivated and be able to build long term relationships
- Identification of continuous improvements within your area of responsibility
- The ability to travel as required within your region
