The role of a SW Maintenance Renewals Rep is responsible for selling Quest software, appliances and related services to and maintaining relationships with existing accounts in a defined territory through email and telephone. Channel engagement and relationship management is critical as this will require you to liaise with channel partners as well as direct customer to fulfil your job requirements.

  • Lead the renewal sales cycle from proposal stage through contract execution
  • Achieve / exceed quarterly renewal targets
  • Maximize renewal revenue
  • Drive on-time or early renewals
  • Accurately forecast quarterly renewal revenue
  • Identify, up-sell & cross-sell opportunities within dedicated client base
  • Collaborative closely with our sales and channels team to achieve objectives
  • Identify “at-risk” renewal clients early in the cycle and define issues inhibiting a successful, timely renewal
  • Provide continuous feedback to management on both successes and challenges of the business
  • Strong track record of sales accomplishments leading commercial negotiations in a quota-carrying role
  • Ability to effectively negotiate in both challenging and collaborative sales engagements
  • Ability to excel in a high-energy, quarterly-results driven sales culture
  • Team player who will work within the company to continue improving organization processes
  • Intermediate / advanced excel skills, experience in word, power point and CRM systems (SFDC and Siebel
  • Travel may be needed
  • Lead contribution individually and/or as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Renewals / Inside sales experience required for at least 2-3 years
  • Good knowledge of SFDC and / or Siebel, Microsoft Office
  • Good presentation skills
